Building on SFM’s initiative, InsureNet continues to evolve as a key meeting place for professionals across finance, insurance, and technology. The aim remains clear: to expand collaboration, strengthen knowledge exchange, and grow the network within insurance distribution.

The Meeting Place for the Future of the Insurance Market

On November 4, the industry gathered in Stockholm for InsureNet 2025 – a day filled with insights, networking, and discussions on the most pressing issues in insurance and finance. Participants gained access to cutting-edge analysis and forward-looking perspectives.

This year’s program featured:

Niklas Wykman, Minister for Financial Markets
Shared the government’s perspective on the financial market, today’s uncertain global environment, and the role of the insurance industry now and in the future.

Jenny has been CEO of SPP Pension & Insurance and a member of Storebrand’s group management team for three years. SPP is one of Sweden’s fastest-growing companies in pensions and savings, guided by simplicity and sustainability. Previously, Jenny served as Sales Director at SPP and has broad experience in the insurance industry, with leadership roles at insurance broker Aon and If P&C Insurance. She holds a background in behavioral science and has also studied Management at Harvard. Jenny’s leadership is characterized by a values-driven approach, with a strong focus on sustainability and creating business value for customers and intermediaries.


Niklas Wykman has served as Sweden’s Minister for Financial Markets since 2022. He has extensive political experience, with a particular focus on economic issues, tax policy, and financial markets. His work is defined by a commitment to safeguarding financial stability, strengthening Sweden’s competitiveness, and ensuring strong consumer protection.


Gunnar Hökmark is a former Member of the European Parliament and the Swedish Parliament. During his many years in politics, he worked on issues related to the economy, energy, security, and democracy. Today, he is active as a public commentator, advisor, and lecturer with a particular focus on the savings market in Sweden and Europe, as well as geopolitical developments.



Robert has been Chief Economist at SBAB since 2017, analyzing macroeconomics and the housing economy, and frequently serving as the company’s public voice in the media. He focuses particularly on the housing market, construction costs, and how macroeconomic factors affect households’ ability to own a home. In his analyses, he often argues that lower construction costs, improved regulation, and targeted policy measures are essential to increasing housing supply and reducing risks in the market.



Eva has been CEO and Group President of Säkra since late 2019. Before that, she had a long career at Max Matthiessen, including responsibility for the life and pensions business area. Under her leadership, Säkra has carried out nearly 70 acquisitions, expanding through consolidation, increased geographical reach, and a stronger digital presence. Eva is known for her strong belief in collaboration and building a “together” culture within the organization.



Paul Carty is Chair of the European Standing Committee of BIPAR (European Federation of insurance intermediary associations) and has many years experience in a varied capacities in the insurance industry including as Chief Executive of the Irish Broker Association which had regulatory responsibility, as a partner in Ireland’s largest insurance brokerage, a Director of the Investor Compensation Company at the Central Bank of Ireland and is currently Chair of AIBIS (Allied Irish Banks Insurance Services) and a Director of CGPA (Europe) a specialist insurance company which provides PI to insurance intermediaries in 8 European markets.



Gustaf Rentzhog is CEO and one of the founders of Söderberg & Partners, one of the Nordic region’s leading financial advisory and brokerage firms. Under his leadership, the company has grown into an international group, now operating in eight countries with over 4,800 employees. Gustaf is driven by a desire to challenge and transform the traditional brokerage industry, finding new solutions in financial advisory that simplify processes and create added value for clients.



Jacob became CEO of Max Matthiessen in connection with Nordic Capital’s acquisition around 2020. Under his leadership, the company has undergone a clear transformation through acquisitions and product development, as well as initiating partnerships with global players such as Goldman Sachs. Jacob often emphasizes innovation and making advanced products accessible to more people. Max Matthiessen aims to serve as a bridge between global solutions and Swedish customer needs.



Timothy is responsible for coordinating EIOPA’s and national supervisory authorities’ work on the digital transformation of insurance and pensions, including issues related to AI, data usage, and data ethics. He is passionate about behaviorally informed policymaking and supervision, and about how innovation can lead to better outcomes for consumers.


Tove Hässler
CEO of SFM

Tove Hässler has extensive experience in the insurance industry and has previously served as General Counsel at several insurance companies. For the past two years, she has been CEO of SFM. She plays a central role in driving the development of regulation, digitalization, and collaboration between insurers and intermediaries. With a background in leadership and industry affairs, she works to promote a modern, transparent, and customer-oriented insurance market.
